earth hour is wwf's global initiative where citizens of around globe show their support for action on climate change by turning off non-essential lights and electric equipment for one hour. It's a self-perpertrating drive that inspires us to modify the way we live,every single day .

We dont think for a minute as to what power we consume unless we learn to switch atleast once in a while. When there is a limit to how much of power we can generate if we save even one unit it is commendable. Switch off when not in USE is a habit to be inculcated. USE only when absolutedly needed should be the mantra - when the weather is pleasant learn to live without AC., when the light is bright dont use lights. KUDOS to this effort. Let us not restrict it to one day in a year,. Let us do it once in week.
